Warakapola Pradeshiya Sabhawa is one of the foremost government body within the Sabaragamuwa province. Within the completion of fourth year in my tenure, it is with much privilege that I announce the opportunity to enter the field of information and communication technology.
Currently, all the requirements of an individual from birth to death (even from the time of conception) are being fulfilled by the local government authorities. Many religious/ cultural/ social programs relevant to wellbeing of people residing in the division are facilitated by Warakapola Pradeshiya Sabhawa. Further various programs to develop infrastructure facilities in the area too are conducted. With globalization, people have become more occupied and their needs to have upstretched. It has been one of my lifelong dream to pave the way for people to full fill their needs while being under the home roof.
Through this website, it has been possible to target the aim of uplifting Warakapola Pradeshiya Sabhawa into the globe. The services and projects conducted in the division will updated in the blink of an eye for the public. As the chairman of Warakapola Pradeshiya Sabhawa, my main objective is to full fill all the needs of the people residing in the division with maximum efficiency enhancing best performance of Warakapola Pradeshiya Sabhawa.
Further, I am extending my gratitude to Vice Chairman of Warakapola Pradeshiya Sabhawa; Mr. Asoka Nimal Ranatunge and my fellow members of Pradeshiya Sabhawa. Also, I thank Divisional Secretory; Ms. M P G N Priyadarshani Mallawa and rest of staff. With the vision of "making it the most excellent and efficient local government institution in Sri Lanka through dedication to public service", under the concept of current chairman Mr. N.Sarath Sumanasooriya I have been opened doors to start traveling with this new technology. there - fore I consider myself fortunate to be able to contact you through this website too. Among the tasks to be done to fulfill the needs and wants of the people of Warakapola pradeshiya sabha area, my aim and responsibility is to implement the decisions taken by the Honorable Council for the provision of health, physical planning and roads, water supply services, public utilities and welfare services and to provide efficient and accurate guidance to the staff. It is my wish to see the Warakapola Pradeshiya sabha, which has historical value, become the best local government body in Sri Lanka by improving the livelihoods of the rural people.
